Dear friends,

the first 'test-tube baby' in the Czech Republic, and Central and Eastern Europe was born in our IVF centre in 1982. The first pregnancy with frozen embryos we achieved in 1994. Since then, the assisted reproduction methods have made a major progress and have become an integral part of the reproduction medicine. Today, the assisted reproduction techniques represent the most progressive approach to the treatment of infertility.
More than twenty years of clinical experiencies based on our research activities are reflected in the treatment results achieved, which are on a part with those of the leading world IVF centers. At present, our Centre offers all currently used methods and techniques of assisted reproduction, including micromanipulations and the egg and embryo donor programmes. We also provide preimplantation genetic diagnosis (the detection of a possible genetic defect before embryo transfer).
To better understand the issues relating to infertility, artificial insemination, and a range of administrative measures accompanying the treatment cycle in our clinic click www.ivfbrno.cz  If you have any questions, please contact us either by e-mail or call us on +420 532 238 266. We will be happy to give you any details.

The center achieved the certification of EN ISO 9001:2000 standard in 2002. In May 2002 our department achieved Certificate of Acreditation of The European Board and College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG) as an accredited European Training Centre.

We would like to thank you for the confidence you have given to the team of the Centre of Assisted Reproduction of the Dept. of Gynaecology and Obstetrics in Brno, and we hope that you will successful complete your treatment and will achieve your aim - to have your own baby.
