Klinika dětské chirurgie, ortopedie a traumatologie FN Brno připravila pro děti mateřských, základních a středních škol výjimečný preventivní program. Žáci mají možnost se dostat přímo do Dětské nemocnice, kde je traumatologové upozorní formou přístupnou pro jejich věk na nebezpečí úrazů. První děti dorazí do Dětské nemocnice ze ZŠ Milénova ve čtvrtek 9. 6. 2016 v 9.00 hodin. Jedná se o mimořádný projekt dětské chirurgie, který je v ČR ojedinělý tohoto druhu. Ročně by se tak mělo v Dětské nemocnici vystřídat zhruba 80 tříd z různých typů škol.
„Je to jedinečná možnost pro děti dostat se přímo do nitra nemocnice, mluvit s lékaři a vidět jednotlivé kroky, které nastanou v případě, že se zraní. Ukážeme jim nejčastější úrazy, sáhnou si na umělé kosti, budou se moci na počítači učit, jak být opatrný, případně jak ošetřit svůj či kamarádův úraz. Některé aplikace si budou moci stáhnout i do svých elektronických zařízení,“uvedl přednosta Kliniky dětské chirurgie, ortopedie a traumatologie FN Brno prof. MUDr. Ladislav Plánka, Ph.D., který dodal, že tento typ preventivních programů je určen rovněž i pro pedagogy a všechny dospělé, kteří se starají o náplň volného času dětí (rodiče, vychovatelé, trenéři, oddíloví vedoucí…).
Děti v rámci návštěvy Dětské nemocnice si kromě setkání s lékaři KDCHOT budou moci prohlédnout také přístroje, dotknout se jednotlivých operačních nástrojů, navštíví pokoje, setkají se s nemocnými malými pacienty, prohlédnou si umělé kosti atd.

Čtvrtek 9. 6. 2016 v 8.30 hodin, Dětská nemocnice, Černopolní ul., (3. NP, seminární místnost KDCHOT), kde na dotazy médií budou odpovídat traumatologové KDCHOT včetně prof. Ladislava Plánky. V 9.00 hodin již proběhne první setkání s dětmi ZŠ Milénova. Půjde o krátký blok přednášek. K dispozici bude také občerstvení.
Fakultní nemocnice Brno a její Klinika dětské chirurgie, ortopedie a traumatologie (KDCHOT) představuje jedno z největších Center dětské traumatologie v České republice, kde se léčí děti s úrazy všech typů a závažností.
KDCHOT si tímto projektem slibuje zvýšení informovanosti veřejnosti a dětské populace o možnostech prevence úrazů, jejich léčby a řádné navrácení zpět do společnosti či kolektivu dětí. Významný projekt dětské kliniky byl podpořen Norskými fondy, konkrétně programu CZ11 (NF-CZ11-OV-1-019-2015), v jehož průběhu vznikly již konkrétní výukové programy pro všechny věkové kategorie dětí.
Primární prevence
Vzhledem k tomu, že nejúčinnější primární prevencí je přímé setkání s úrazem a s lidmi, kteří jej sami prodělali, uzpůsobila KDCHOT své prostory a připravila metodický program tak, aby jednotlivé skupiny dětí mohly přijít přímo do "centra dění", viděly prostředí traumatologického oddělení a cestu poraněného pacienta od přijetí až po propuštění a zejména byly seznámeni s tím, že úraz není jen něco, o čem se mluví v médiích a ve škole, ale že se jedná o skutečné lidské (dětské) příhody a příběhy.
Sekundární prevence
V rámci sekundární úrazové prevence jsou připraveny programy zaměřující se na výuku první pomoci při úrazu. Děti i dospělí mají možnost si vyzkoušet, jak postupovat u nejčastějších úrazů, neboť i jejich včasný zásah může minimalizovat škody. Jednotlivé programy jsou rovněž rozděleny dle věku a dle typu účastníků a probíhají v prostředí dětského traumacentra se všemi originálními pomůckami i odborným dohledem.
Terciární prevence
V rámci terciární prevence je připraven jeden program, který je zaměřen na děti po těžkých úrazech. Na základě databáze úrazů jsou tipovány děti nebo již dospělí lidé, kteří v minulosti prodělali podobný úraz a nyní jsou již začleněni zpět do společnosti a vrátili se ke svým běžným životním činnostem. Jakkoli jejich úraz zasáhl do života, budou pro aktuálně zraněné děti a jejich rodiče příkladem a psychickou podporou. Zde se počítá spíše s individuálním programem pro jednotlivé pacienty.

University Hospital Brno and the Department of Pediatric Surgery, Orthopedics and Traumatology (KDCHOT) represents one of the largest Pediatric Trauma Center in the Czech Republic, where treats children with injuries of all types and severity.
To improvement of the health care quality in KDCHOT puts emphasis also on Child Injury Prevention, which long carried out in collaboration with grant programs. The last was financed by the Integrated Operational Program of the European Funds (CZ.1.06/3.2.01/07.06912) and carrying the working title Comprehensive solutions to prevent child injuries in the Czech Republic. In this program, a national registry of child injuries was constructed and institution of the Center of Child Accident Prevention KDCHOT FN Brno was introduced. Another cultivation prevention programs, currently in progress with the support of Norwegian funds, specifically the program CZ11 (NF-CZ11-OV-1-019-2015) during which longer occur specific training programs for all ages of children. Project is targeted to all levels of prevention - primary, secondary and tertiary.

Primary prevention
Given that the most effective primary prevention is the direct encounter with the accident as people who have themselves suffered, have adapted KDCHOT their premises and prepared methodical program so that different groups of children could come directly to the "center stage", saw the environment traumatology department and path injured patients from admission to discharge, and were particularly familiar with the fact that the injury is not just something that is spoken in the media and in school, but it is a real human (child) events and stories. The program includes a tour of the space, a discussion with injured children and their parents, demonstration treatments and demonstration of various mechanisms of injury.
Finally, we summarized the risks that are appropriate for their age and regular activities will be monitored and alerted them. Users are vaccinated schools and kindergartens, for which create different levels of programs according to age and specific requirements, the same program was prepared for parents, teachers and educators and sports leaders. In cooperation with the traffic police is specially prepared section of road accidents that cause serious injuries. Those programs are police statistics, demonstration videos and simulations, discussions with the various components of the Integrated Rescue System.
All programs have their text output in the form of methodologies that are universally developed for different groups of injuries (home, school, traffic, sports, intentional) and are distributed to the respective destinations (homes, schools, sports).
Secondary prevention
In terms of secondary injury prevention are ready to programs focusing on teaching first aid in an accident. Children and adults have the opportunity to experience how to proceed with the most common injuries, as well as their timely intervention can minimize the damage. Individual programs are also divided according to age and type of participants and are held in the children the trauma with all original tools and expert supervision.
Tertiary prevention
In tertiary prevention is ready one program, which is aimed at children after severe injuries. Based Injury Database predict the outcomes are already children or adults who have ever had a similar injury, and now they are already integrated into society and return to his normal life activities. However their injury hit in life, they will be for the currently injured children and their parents example and psychological support. Here we count more with an individual program for each patient.
Given the high level of child injury prevention in Norway and Sweden is planned expenditure also visit some of the institutions and a tour of its activities. It is expected the inspiration for the preparation of the program, methodologies, but also for individual preventive measures.
The idea of investigators is that the programs and methodologies will be developed, configured, and tested many times after the end of the project also offered and operated. One of the outputs will also be informative website, which will remain accessible from the pages of University Hospital Brno.
