The Department of Clinical Oncology at the University Hospital in Brno-Bohunice offers support program for patients with oncological diseases called “BALANCE”. His goal is to minimize anxiety and fear connected with the diagnosis of malignant disease. This program is organized not only for University Hospital patients but also for general public. The lecturers are physicians-specialists in oncology, psychiatry, nurses, social and rehabilitation workers.
